Question: What justification is there for ever-increasing military spending, how and why certain governments sanction unwarranted missile and drone attacks, assassinations, invasions, coups, ‘false-flag’ operations, and ‘regime-change’?

What reason can there be for ‘no-fly’ zones, the countless untold and ongoing atrocities against peoples of countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen, and the huge amounts of ‘military aid’ (taxpayer money) to Israel, which is then spent on buying US made weaponry?

Well, it’s because an imaginary ‘enemy’ has appeared, which ‘threatens our way of life’, threatens ‘our values’. (‘way of life’, which is to say, the imperialist, colonialist, ‘robber baron scumbag way of life’).

One can’t help wondering if American citizens, UK citizens, are asking themselves.. but not their government (?) : “Why the heck are we pouring billions into weapons, prepping the world for total annihilation, supplying weapons to the Saud regime to kill civilians in Yemen, giving billions to Israel, (so they can buy more MIC weapons), and actually stealing ever-increasing amounts from the people of the untied snakes of America and not-so-united kingdom, multitudes of whom are in dire need of the help that governments are supposed to provide?
Why aren’t we investing all this taxpayer money back into our countries infrastructures to build a better world for people to live in? Why are you, our theoretical governments, planning for, and using, OUR money for mass destruction, and not construction”

— BarrieVVeiss

Who ARE the MIC? Sorry, did I say MIC? Of course I mean the US and UK governments in conjunction with the Military Establishment, plus various and sundry members of EU and Australian parliaments.
The more apt term now is the MIPAC – the Military Industrial Political Academic Complex – Full-Spectrum Lunacy

We examine Blinken, and Biden‘s ‘team’, – the history and stated aims of US war-hawks following the China US ‘diplomatic’ meeting in Alaska – analysing the semantics – the agenda, the propaganda, the bravado, and ‘spin’.’

Of course, now, the big ‘enemy’ – ‘over the horizon’, so to speak, is China. (Has been for some time, truth be told) But, and also, Australia has been utterly ‘sold out’ and embroiled in this doomed money-making scheme now too.. Why? Here’s why:

Why are the 1% so terrified of China? Here’s your answer:

Take the money away, would ‘they’, the ‘5%’ who channel ‘the money’ to the ‘1%’ continue to expose themselves as murderous clueless ‘eedjits’ with no dignity, no integrity, zero credibility and no moral compass?
Nope.

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organised habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, and our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of…. It is they who pull the wires that control the public mind."
Edward Bernays

Q: Who’s pulling the strings? Your governments?

A: No, They are the ones whose strings are being pulled. (albeit, with foreknowledge..)

Q: So, by whom?
A: The MIC. (MIPAC)

Q: Who are the ‘MIC’? (MIPAC)
A: Those who profit, hugely and continually from perpetual war, and whose ‘shares’ pay huge dividends to those members of government who lie, coerce, propagandise and sanction their perpetual wars.
Ergo, The Banks – The Banks always play both sides of the board in the ‘geopolitical chessgame’ – funding and instigating both sides of conflicts – and the Banks are always the winners – profiting from interest on war-loans, reparations, nation(re)building IMF BIS World Bank.. etc etc:

President of the United States (and five-star general during World War II) Dwight D. Eisenhower used the term in his Farewell Address to the Nation on January 17, 1961:

“This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence—economic, political, even spiritual—is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military–industrial complexThe potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.

— Dwight D. Eisenhower

(It should be noted that Eisenhower actually helped create the MIC in the first place)

By now you should be able to form a clear picture of the money-go-round..
You managed to join..the..dots.. right?

The system isn’t broken – it’s working exactly as it’s meant to – as the MIC mean it to.. a self-perpetuating money-go-round that siphons wealth created from the ‘sweat of the brow’ of the working person upward to the ‘1%’.. – channelled by the idiot class – the ‘5%’..

The ‘west’ has to have an ‘enemy’. Right now, this is China. (This alternates with Russia, Iran , Syria, Venezuela etc) And this concocted, imaginary ‘enemy’ justifies hegemony, imperialism, military spending. The ‘MSM’, – the media, governments and propaganda – ‘atrocity’ and otherwise, are the tools of the ‘MIC’; Follow the ‘money’.

The Architects of the Iraq War

The ‘PNAC’

‘Written before the September 11 attacks, and during political debates of the War in Iraq, a section of Rebuilding America’s Defenses entitled “Creating Tomorrow’s Dominant Force” became the subject of considerable controversy: “Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.” Journalist John Pilger pointed to this passage when he argued that the Bush administration had used the events of September 11 as an opportunity to capitalize on long-desired plans.

‘Eight days after the invasion of Iraq on March 19 2003, Paul Wolfowitz, then deputy defence secretary and leading proponent of the war, told a Congressional committee: “We are dealing with a country that can really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon.”
Translation: ‘We’re going to bomb this country to pieces and then they’re going to pay us to rebuild it’ (in our image)

— Paul Wolfowitz Deputy Secretary of Defense (2001-2005)

“By Nuremburg War Crime Laws, Tony Blair (George Bush and every signatory and architect of the PNAC, and every other ‘western alliance’ war of aggression) would be hung” Absolutely true fact.
By the way, what they were hung for at Nuremburg was quote
“Planning and waging an aggressive war” The excellent and highly entertaining ‘History of Oil’ by Rob Newman

Quoting from video: (A revelation)

“In 1952 the US National Security Council recorded in a memo that ‘Southeast Asia, especially Malaya and Indonesia, is the principal world source of natural rubber… and a producer of petroleum and other strategically important commodities.’

This required two things: the encirclement of China with military bases strung along Okinawa, the Phillipines, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand; and conquest.

The existence of one of the world’s largest off-shore oil fields in the Gulf of Tonkin had been known since the 1920s. In 1947 on Bock 32 eleven miles into the Gulf of Mexico the first offshore oil platform came onstream. It was now possible to pump the oil from under the Tonkin seabed.

Standard Oil began pumping Ho Chi Minh with weapons in the hope of driving out French oil corporation Elf. But after liberation in 1954 Ho Chi Minh, having just offloaded decades of first French, then Japanese then once again French exploitation, wanted Vietnamese oil for the Vietnamese.

In August 1964, President Johnson and Secretary of defence Robert McNamara, needing a pretext for invasion, lied that US destroyer Maddox was torpedoed in the Gulf of Tonkin by North Vietnamese boats. Cue napalm death and agent orange.

But meanwhile back in the Gulf of Tonkin the US Navy and Standard Oil used depth charges to create seismic readings of likely underground oil deposits. After the war when Vietnam sold concessions, Standard Oil bid only on those areas of the Gulf of Tonkin which the US naval survey had shown to be oil rich, while European companies bought nothing but silt and hotel toilet paper, rock lobsters and a ten million dollar octopus garden.

Now I’m not saying in all of this that for a century wars have only been fought for oil. All I’m saying is that we have downplayed the role of this vital strategic commodities in the stories we tell ourselves about where we have been and what we have done. I’m saying that history makes more sense rather than less when you see oil as more rather than less central. “

The whole war profiteers / MIC game goes back a way: Edward Bernays – Guatemala Regime Change and BananasHistory will teach us nothing? History will teach us nothingIf we don’t know it.or if we’ve ‘been fed’, and ‘swallowed’ a false version..

— Barrie VVeiss

From wikipedia: The United Fruit Company (today’s Chiquita Brands International) hired Bernays in the early 1940s for the purpose of promoting banana sales within the United States.

Bernays worked on the national press and successfully drummed up coverage of Guatemala‘s Communist menace. The company became alarmed about the political situation in Guatemala after Jacobo Árbenz Guzman became president in March 1951. On March 21, 1951, Bernays told United Fruit’s head of publicity, Edmund Whitman, that Guatemala could reprise Iran‘s recent nationalisation of British Petroleum (BP): See also: Rob Newman – The history of Oil and amara.org/en/videos-English subtitles

‘We recommend that immediate steps be undertaken to safeguard American business interests in Latin American countries against comparable action there. News knows no boundaries today. . . . ‘
(Or morals, apparently) .

He recommended a campaign in which universities, lawyers, and the US government would all induce the President and State Department to issue a policy pronouncement comparable to the Monroe Doctrine concerning expropriation.” The New York Times, the New York Herald Tribune, Time, Newsweek, and the Atlantic Monthly had all published articles describing the threat of Communism in Guatemala.

Bernays memo in July 1951 recommended that this wave of media attention should be translated into action by promoting: (a) a change in present U.S. ambassadorial and consular representation, (b) the imposition of congressional sanctions in this country against government aid to pro-Communist regimes, (c) U.S. government subsidising of research by ‘disinterested groups’ like the Brookings Institution into various phases of the problem.[53]

Per Bernays’s strategy, United Fruit distributed favorable articles and an anonymous Report on Guatemala to every member of Congress and to national “opinion molders”. They also published a weekly Guatemala Newsletter and sent it to 250 journalists, some of whom used it as a source for their reporting.
(Ring any bells? Hong Kong, Reuters – Uyghurs – Xinjiang)

In January 1952 he brought a cohort of journalists from various notable newspapers on a tour of Guatemala, sponsored by the company. This technique proved highly effective and was repeated four more times. In June, 1954, the US Central Intelligence Agency effected a coup d’état code-named Operation PBSuccess. The CIA backed a minimal military force, fronted by Carlos Castillo Armas, with a psychological warfare campaign to portray military defeat as a foregone conclusion. During the coup itself, Bernays was the primary supplier of information for the international newswires Associated Press, United Press International and the International News Service.

Following the coup, Bernays built up the image of Guatemala’s new president Carlos Castillo Armas, giving advice for his public appearances both in Guatemala and in the US. In 1956, Bernays produced a pamphlet comparing the Communist way and the Christian way. In 1959, United Fruit dispensed with all external advisors including Bernays

Here’s the thing: most people in the EU, the US, and the UK really do not see what’s coming. That ‘what’, is, in fact, already at the door. While you’re busy bickering about naughty Russia and China, (‘cos they’re told to) – there’s a very very big bad wolf knocking your door. Down.

The Enemy Within

Footnote:
Difference between America and China?
In China, corporations and big business do not dictate to the government, and neither, therefore, to the people – And this would go a long way to explaining why China’s infrastructure and progress has leapt ahead so rapidly – the money, the profit, the progress is for China – not for some unseen 1% ;>
